by Russian Defence Ministry on progress of special military operation as of 19 August 2025 Last night, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation carried out a group strike with long-range high-precision weapons, as well as strikes by unmanned aerial vehicles at an oil refinery supplying fuel to the AFU grouping on Donbass. The goal of the strike has been achieved, all the assigned targets were engaged. The units of the Sever Group of Forces inflicted losses on manpower and hardware of one mechanised brigade, one assault brigade, one assault regiment of the AFU, and one territorial defence brigade close to Andreyevka, Alekseyevka, Leninskoye, Kiyanitsa, and Yunakovka (Sumy region). In Kharkov direction, Russian troops hit formations of one mechanised brigade of the AFU and one territorial defence brigade near Volchansk, Ambarnoye, and Tikhoye (Kharkov region).▪️ The AFU losses amounted to up to 160 troops, one tank, four armoured fighting vehicles, and 12 motor vehicles. Seven field artillery guns, including one U.S.-made 155-mm M777 howitzer, one ammunition depot, and two materiel depots, were neutralised. The Zapad Group's units improved the tactical situation and inflicted losses on formations of one mechanised brigade, one assault brigade of the AFU, and one territorial defence brigade near Olgovka, Kupyansk, Osinovo, Peschanoye, Borovskaya Andreyevka (Kharkov region), Novoselovka, Kirovsk, Sredneye, and Torskoye (Donetsk People's Republic).▪️ The AFU losses amounted to more than 240 troops, seven Western-made armoured fighting vehicles, 16 motor vehicles, and two artillery guns. Six electronic warfare stations and seven ammunition depots were neutralised. The Yug Group's units improved the situation along the front line, inflicted losses on manpower and hardware of two mechanised brigades, one airmobile brigade of the AFU, and one territorial defence brigade near Seversk, Serebryanka, Nikolayevka, Fedorovka, Katerinovka, Nelepovka, and Kleban-Byk (Donetsk People's Republic).▪️ The AFU losses amounted to more than 235 troops, one armoured fighting vehicle, one motor vehicle, one field artillery gun, one ammunition depot, two materiel depots, and one fuel depot.👉 See Part 2 Russian Defence Ministry
